About this Website

The aim of this website is to provide up to date information for the Parish Council and other village organisations.  It is also a requirement that the Parish Council adheres to the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities 2014.  This code was issued to meet the government's desire to place more power into citizen's hands and to increase democratic accountabilities.  The Code requires online publication of  key spending and governance information on occasions as specified in the Code. The Government considers that publication of the items in adherence to this Code will provide the electorate and ratepayers with a clear picture of the activities of the Parish Council

The Transparency Code be viewed, along with other policies, in the Parish Council Section tab above.

Police and Crime Plan 2024 - Consultation

The plan will set out the policing and crime objectives for the Humber region, the resources provided to the Chief Constable, the services my office will commission, and how I will continue to work with partners to deliver safer communities and support victims of crime. (survey expires 31 July 2024).

The next Parish Council meeting is due to take place on Tuesday 10 September at 7pm in the Village Hall. The agenda can be viewed here nearer the time.

Help and support for households across the East Riding with the cost of living

Your Life your Way - The council has launched Your Life Your Way, a website hub featuring a vast range of information on how to stay independent and access support for both carers and East Riding residents. The website will help people self-serve and enable anyone to get timely advice. This enhances the personal touch, giving choice and control to residents.
